Early August created a rare opportunity for everyone to be in the same state and town at the same time. Michael, Mackenzie and Trevor were coming for a week to attend a wedding in Grand Rapids and then Mackenzie and Trevor were going on to Mexico City the following weekend. Randi was taking some doctoring test and after she completed that she jumped on a plane to be here for the weekend. This presented an opportunity Saturday to do one of the family pictures that Mary likes. With everyone’s schedules I didn’t bother trying to go to one of the mall guys, they are a pain in the ass anyway. I staged the event in our own back yard. Out of the thousands of proofs taken these are the four that made the cut.
And finally the one that is being blown up and framed to hang on our wall in the big picture gallery of our house.
After this they were off to the wedding and Randi stayed until Sunday night. There was some cooking.
Then we went out and ate food and when everyone came back from the wedding spent hours playing Settlers of Catan.
Monday had a little bowling to start up the weeks activities.
Then out for some food to prep for more Settlers of Catan. Although sometime during the day we stopped in the mall for some reason and this completed the photo opportunity weekend.
