Great grandpa A.H.Smith was married twice. His first wife was Grandpa Smiths’ mother and she died at age 28 shortly after the birth of their 4th child. This picture must have been taken shortly before their death.
He ultimately remarried and had 4 more children with his second wife pictured here.

This picture is somewhat confusing insofar as the lady does not look like wife 2 from the other picture but that is the note and it is identified as 1912 and has my dads 2 older brothers and one of his older sisters. L to R Ray Smith, A.H Smith Martha Smith (Pickle), Allie Smith,and Murhl Smith.
In 1941 Grandpa smith Made a trip to Missouri and made a sketch and map of his mother and baby brothers grave.
